Job Description:
- Work with Dean-SHLS and faculty members of SHLS for writing research proposals, grant applications, and manuscript writing.
- Understand research proposal, data collection techniques, project scope, target groups, study site, etc.
- Quality assurance of data and feedback to the supervisor on filed activities timely.
- Analyze data using the specific data analysis software
- Writing inception and final project reports.
- Any other tasks assigned by the NSU Authority.
Academic Qualification:
- MPH/MSc in related discipline from a recognized university in Bangladesh/abroad
- Degree in Statistics/Biostatistics/Epidemiology will be given priority.
Experience:
- Must have knowledge of Epidemiology and Biostatistics
- Previous experience in public health research
- Efficient in data management and analysis
- Should have a good command over a few statistical software, such as Stata, R, SPSS, etc.
- Should have experience working on real research projects and know how to write research proposals and grant applications.
Age: Not exceeding 35 years.
Pay Scale: Tk. 25,383-2,538-63,456 (as per NSU policy).
Other Terms and Conditions:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, supervisory experience, and well conversant in computer applications.
- Willingness to work on holidays and after office-hours, if necessary.
- Third division/ class/ equivalent CGPA of the candidates in any educational level will not be accepted.
